Occupy Poetry

(birthday poem for a wife)

BY Ivo Skoric

You are like an inextinguishable oil spill
Gushing, gushing, longing for a shore
All that pressure, squeezing, nearly broke my drill
Pushing, pushing made it mighty sore

Such is my need to ride your dark red swell
You splash, you smash the top of my rig
Unforeseeable powers in your depths dwell
Yet, forever unquenchable, I still dig, dig, dig
