Occupy Poetry

QUITE SOON THERE WILL BE TROUBLE

BY Stefan Mayerhofer

it's a perpetual poem, so feel free to continue;)

to all those who stay dumb and blind
to all those who submit their mind
to all those who lay down the rules
to all those leaders, kings and fools

quite soon there will be trouble!...

to all those docile systemjerks
to all those trust that never works
to all those media driven ones
to all those mothers, fathers, sons

quite soon there will be trouble!...

to all those branded bureaucrats
to all those politics and feds
to all those artificial thoughts
to all those bankers, lawyers, frauds

quite soon there will be trouble!...

to all those war for profit hawks
to all those economic talks
to all those hate that never ends
to all those enemies and friends

quite soon there will be trouble!...

to all those folks who live their li(v)es
to all those handy alibis
to all those costs and benefits
to all those adults, teens and kids

quite soon there will be trouble!...

to all those families of means
to all those servants full of beans
to all those stop-go policies
to all those folks and employees

quite soon there will be trouble!...

to all those frantic hedonists
to all those fatal optimists
to all those coaxing smart-ass guys
to all those wide shut ears and eyes

quite soon there will be trouble!...

to all those heinous hypocrites
to all those secret memberships
to all those vicious cancer cells
to all those thugs and criminals

quite soon there will be trouble!...

to all those waste increasing things
to all those G8 gatherings
to all those lies of "yes we can!"
to all those dust- and congressmen

quite soon there will be trouble!...

to all those vested interests
to all those nuclear weapons tests
to all those networks going mad
to all those blockheads good and bad

quite soon there will be trouble!...

to be continued...
