Languishing
Like her eyes
I left behind
So quiet
Biden left yesterday
Bush some years ago
Troops return in thirty days
But then it is not
About persons
Nations
Awry wars
This is about leaving
Being left behind
This is about
The geographies
Of unchartered skies
Of the hearts
